Your Girlfriend/boyfriend is not Your Private Property
Some youth the habit of treating their girlfriend or boyfriend as their private property. Then try to thrust their likes or dislikes, especially those people who are dominating nature. They always try to control others. Later on they get left alone and become lonely.
To get rid of this problem, give up insistence or habit of saying that whatever you want must be done. Your girlfriend or boyfriend is, of course, yours but let her or him live ones own life. Don't try to exercise force and subdue her or him. Seeing that you behave like Hitler, she or he might be scared off.
- Do not thrust your likes or dislikes on your friend.
- Don't misunderstand when your girlfriend or boyfriend talks to your friend laughingly.
- Don't keep on singing your own time. Listen to what your girlfriend or boyfriend has to say as well.
- Don't humiliate your girlfriend or boyfriend by calling her or him stupid, dull, dirty, etc.
- Don't fight if somebody accidentally bumps into your girlfriend or boyfriend or touches him or her.
- Don't interfere in his or her choice about food, dress, and other things.
- Don't share his or her happiness only; share his or her sorrows as well.
- If you do not like anything about your girlfriend or boyfriend, do not say it in front of everybody. Convince him or her when he or she is alone, but don't shout at him or her or scold him or her. Make everything clear through patience and love.
- Don't pinch, touch, kiss and play with your friend's body parts. They are not your private property.
- Some girls and boys do not like people who hold hands, pull braids, pat cheeks, etc.
- Don't say in front of others that whatever you say, your girlfriend or boyfriend will willingly accept.
- Don't bet with your girlfriend or boyfriend in order to make her or him agree about anything.
